Job Title: Youth Development Coach

The Youth Development Coach plays a vital role in providing trauma-focused support and services to clients in the residential department. This position requires a high level of care and supervision, ensuring the well-being and safety of clients at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with daily life activities, promoting independence and self-sufficiency.
  • Participate in recreational activities, fostering a positive and engaging environment.
  • Maintain discipline and provide assistance with controlling disruptive behavior using agency-approved methods of de-escalation and crisis intervention.
  • Provide transportation to clients as necessary, ensuring safe and timely arrival at destinations.
  • Complete daily documentation, including activity logs, mileage forms, and incident reports, to ensure accurate record-keeping.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience working directly with children, with a focus on behavior patterns and modification techniques.
  • Understanding of group dynamics and sensitivity to individual members of the group.
