Overview:
Soliant Education is seeking dedicated and passionate Special Education Teachers to join our team in Taylor, MI. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students with diverse learning needs in grades 7-12.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' unique needs.
  • Provide instruction in a variety of settings, including inclusion classrooms and resource rooms.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff to ensure the success of students.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and IEP documentation.
  • municate effectively with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders regarding student progress and challenges.
  • Create a positive and supportive learning environment that fosters student engagement and independence.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field (Masters preferred).
  • Valid teaching certification in Special Education for the state of Michigan.
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws, IEP development, and effective teaching strategies.
  • Experience working with middle and high school students with varying disabilities.
  • Excellent munication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
