BioPhase Solutions is dedicated to connecting exceptional talent with the vibrant Scientific community in Southern California. We are currently seeking a Cell Therapy Specialist to contribute to a prominent biopharmaceutical organization in the Greater Los Angeles area.
Compensation: $25-35/hour based on experience
Key Responsibilities:- Execute all processes related to the production of clinical products in accordance with established batch records and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Collaborate within a small team to conduct Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) operations in close partnership with Process Development and Quality Assurance.
- Support the formulation of standard operating procedures, batch records, and documentation for deviations and change controls.
- Effectively resolve processing and equipment challenges.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
- Bachelor's degree or higher (recent graduates are welcome to apply) or a minimum of 3 years of cGMP experience in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing setting.
- Experience in cell culture processing.
- Familiarity with cell therapy products is advantageous.
- Solid understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, aseptic techniques, and cell culture products.
- Commitment to adhering to SOPs and cGMP regulations, with the ability to accurately complete documentation related to clinical manufacturing.
- Proficient in aseptic/sterile techniques and prior experience with cell culture and associated equipment, including Wave bioreactors.
- Experience in handling and cultivating human primary cells, particularly T cells.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and data analysis.
- Critical thinking abilities, along with demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Self-driven and open to taking on temporary responsibilities beyond the initial job description.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are essential in this collaborative environment.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic small company setting with minimal supervision and able to adapt workload based on shifting priorities.
- Willingness to work off-hours and additional hours as necessary.
