- Address patient inquiries and provide comfort during recovery.
- Maintain oversight of intravenous therapies and adjust as necessary.
- Develop personalized care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Implement nursing activities in alignment with the care plan.
- Observe for any changes in patient conditions and communicate with physicians as needed.
- Educate patients and families about post-operative care and medications.
- Determine appropriate timing for patient transfers to recovery rooms.
- Respond to emergencies and perform necessary interventions.
- Monitor sedation levels and body temperature.
- Administer blood and fluid transfusions and collect specimens as required.
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the recovery area.
- Change dressings and manage surgical wound care.

Qualifications:
- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in PreOp/PACU or Critical Care, with preference for ambulatory surgical center experience.
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
- Strong understanding of surgical procedures and patient management.
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and their application.
- Ability to adapt swiftly to changing patient conditions.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills with staff, patients, and physicians.
