The Valve & Inflate Assembler is responsible for ensuring that high-quality cushions are produced by providing expertise and support in all aspects of valve assembly and inflation control. Key Responsibilities

ENSURING PRODUCT QUALITY:
Assemble airflow control valve components; integrate the inflation control unit into the Quad Select; attach front and back housing using rivets; assemble the inflation control unit, O-ring, and knobs; verify spindle length. Install valves, grommets, clean cushions, and inflate cushions.

TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT:
Assist in training and orienting new team members; communicate effectively with leadership regarding product, equipment, or personnel matters; participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions; resolve issues and provide guidance on various techniques and processes.

MAINTAINING WORKFLOW EFFICIENCY:
Perform all functions within the valve and inflation control department, including assembly, inflation, and cleaning; ensure FIFO (first in/first out) on materials; inspect products for defects that may lead to assembly failures; report issues promptly to mitigate risks.

DELIVERING QUALITY SERVICE:
Maintain minimal error rates within acceptable limits; relay quality information to relevant teams; uphold an efficient work pace; meet and exceed performance metrics related to quantity, accuracy, timeliness, and thoroughness of work.
