POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Leader to manage a maintenance team operating across multiple shifts in a fast-paced packaging environment.
This role focuses on developing and executing maintenance strategies, supervising maintenance personnel, and liaising with external service providers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- MAINTENANCE OVERSIGHT: Ensure safe operations and effective maintenance of all production and packaging machinery.
- MAINTENANCE STRATEGY: Formulate and uphold plans for corrective, predictive, and preventive maintenance.
- INVENTORY CONTROL: Manage inventory levels of maintenance materials, supplies, and components.
- TEAM LEADERSHIP: Supervise a team of 15 technicians across three shifts, providing hands-on guidance, coaching, and training.
- REGULATORY COMPLIANCE: Guarantee adherence to GMPs, SOPs, and OSHA standards, ensuring the team is well-informed and trained on these protocols.
- SAFETY MANAGEMENT: Actively address safety concerns and document root cause analyses for any incidents.
- PROJECT COORDINATION: Oversee contractors and trades, ensuring timely and budget-compliant project completion.
- CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT: Propose and implement initiatives that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve processes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 5 years in equipment manufacturing maintenance, with leadership experience required.
- TECHNICAL EXPERTISE: Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting in a high-speed packaging or similar environment.
- LEADERSHIP ABILITY: Demonstrated leadership skills with the capacity to mentor and guide a skilled maintenance team.
- INDUSTRY INSIGHT: Comprehensive understanding of general manufacturing maintenance practices.
- SOFTWARE PROFICIENCY: Skilled in MS Office (Word, Excel) and CMMS.
PREFERRED:
- PLC EXPERIENCE: Familiarity with PLCs (preferably Allen Bradley), vision systems, and related electronic equipment.
- LANGUAGE SKILLS: Bilingual in English and Spanish.
