We are seeking a skilled Heavy Assembler to join our team at SPX FLOW, Inc. in a full-time, permanent position. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling purchased and precision-machined parts to complete products that meet or exceed test specifications.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare assemblies by following work instructions as provided on the production order.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to specific products as needed.
- Test all items to meet or exceed all test specifications from Engineering.
- Record test information as required.
- Operate lifting and moving equipment as required.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum two (2) years' experience in an assembly area is preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and process all instructions, written or verbal.
- Ability to use lifting and moving equipment as required.
- Must have a working knowledge or ability to learn to use precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to interpret basic manufacturing mechanical blueprints.
- Ability to problem solve.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Quality oriented mindset, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to complete all tasks in a safe and accurate manner.
- Basic computer skills.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Specific PPE is required within the cell.
