Job Title: Journeyman NetOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Journeyman NetOps Engineer to join our team at Leidos. As a key member of our Global Solutions Management-Operations II (GSM-O II), Joint Communications Support Element (JCSE) team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise for daily operations and maintenance of systems, troubleshooting and resolving technical problems, and assisting with preparing and maintaining technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day operational routing and switching support with hands-on experience with Cisco Routers and Switches.
  • Troubleshoot routing protocols and end-to-end network performance from the Local Area Network (LAN) through a Wide Area Network (WAN) to a Campus Area Network (CAN).
  • Support the implementation of routine updates, approved upgrades, and engineering or design changes.
  • Assist in isolating and resolving technical issues and problems that impact multiple networks, systems, and devices.
Requirements:
  • Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (CompTIA Security+, CCNA Security, CySA+, etc.).
  • CCNA required.
  • HS Diploma and 5+ years of experience.
