Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Journeyman NetOps Engineer to join our team at Leidos Defense Group. As a NetOps Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise for daily operations and maintenance of systems, effectively troubleshooting and resolving technical problems, and assisting with preparing and maintaining technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day operational routing and switching support with hands-on experience with Cisco Routers and Switches.
  • Assist with preparing and maintaining technical documentation, drawings, and related artifacts.
  • Support implementation of routine updates, approved upgrades, and engineering or design changes.
  • Help to isolate and resolve technical issues and problems that impact multiple networks, systems, and devices.

Requirements:

  • Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (CompTIA Security+, CCNA Security, CySA+, etc.).
  • CCNA required.
  • HS Diploma and 5+ years of experience.
