We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Adventist Health, specializing in hand therapy. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will provide expert care to patients with hand-related injuries or conditions, utilizing your knowledge and skills to help them regain function and independence.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Implement advanced clinical tests and treatment techniques to address hand-related issues, including orthotics, splinting, and exercise programs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide education and training to patients and caregivers on hand therapy techniques, wound care, and adaptive equipment use.
- Document patient progress and outcomes accurately and efficiently, adhering to established deadlines and standards.
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent required; Master's Degree preferred.
- Two years of occupational therapy experience, preferably in hand therapy, is preferred.
- Current Occupational Therapy licensure in the state of practice is required.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- American Society of Hand Therapists certification and Hand Therapy Certification Commission (HTCC) certification are required.
- Competitive hourly rate: $48.16 - $66.05 per hour.
