We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our interdisciplinary research team at Harvard University. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on advancing the frontiers of biological imaging, microfluidics, and understanding intracellular processes.
Key Responsibilities- Design and build an apparatus based on fluctuation correlation spectroscopy (FCS) for real-time characterization of intracellular processes such as gene expression and protein aggregation in living cells.
- Conduct experiments using fluorescence microscopy and FCS techniques to study dynamic cellular processes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to optimize experimental protocols and analyze data.
- Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present results at conferences and seminars.
- Mentor graduate and undergraduate students involved in the project.
- Ph.D. in Physics, Engineering, Biophysics, or related field.
- Strong background in fluorescence microscopy, optics, and imaging techniques.
- Experience with fluctuation correlation spectroscopy (FCS) or related techniques is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in experimental design, data analysis, and scientific programming.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative research team.
