Postdoctoral Fellow in Applied Physics

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Postdoctoral Fellow to join our research team in the Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. The successful candidate will work with Dr. Yiqiao Song on the development and application of nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) technology for subsurface exploration and carbon storage.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research to support the project, working as part of a team to achieve project goals.
  • Prepare publications and reports on research findings.
  • Mentor graduate students and collaborate with other groups.
  • Develop and implement new methods and techniques for NMR technology development and applications.
Requirements:
  • Doctorate or terminal degree in physics, chemistry, geoscience, or a relevant field by the time the appointment begins.
  • Expertise and experience in RF/microwave electronics, NMR, geological science, and rock core analysis are desirable.
