Pediatric Critical Care Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated professional for a Pediatric Critical Care position.

Compensation Package:
Housing and travel stipends are available if required.

Contract Details:
Duration: 13 weeks with the possibility of extension.

Shift Information:
Three 12-hour shifts, rotating between day and night, with a primary focus on night shifts.

Work Schedule:
This is a full-time role with rotating shifts, including weekends.

Team Structure:
Support staff includes Lead APRNs and an APRN Director.
Daily patient load: 6-10 patients.

Patient Demographics:
Care will be provided to infants, children, and families dealing with critical health issues.

Department Overview:
Our 46-bed Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit (MSICU) caters to both medical and surgical patients from newborns to young adults. The unit serves a diverse patient population with various medical and surgical requirements.

Our newborn patients primarily include those with congenital diaphragmatic hernia or those requiring extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) shortly after birth.


Electronic Medical Records:
Utilizing Cerner.
Current hospital capacity: 46 beds (expansion will increase to 55 beds).

Required Skills:

Expertise in frontline care and management of complex critically ill patients in the MSICU, including assessment, diagnosis, pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions, bedside procedures, and family-centered care.
