Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Class A driver to join our team at Coastal Freight and Transportation. As a dedicated regional driver, you will be responsible for operating a tractor-trailer on a regular route, delivering goods to customers in CT, MA, NY, and VT.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a tractor-trailer on a regular route, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods
- Manage daily routes and schedules to optimize efficiency and productivity
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues or concerns
- Meet or exceed company safety standards and regulations
Requirements:
- Class A CDL with a minimum of 3 months of tractor-trailer experience
- Valid medical certificate and DOT physical
- Excellent driving record and a clean MVR
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Benefits:
- Average weekly pay of $1,600
- Average yearly gross of $83,000
