Job Description

Position Overview

Ryder is seeking a skilled Truck Driver CDL Class A Regional to join our team. As a Regional Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination vehicle to transport goods across the country
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods to customers
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent communication and service
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
  • Comply with all relevant laws and regulations, including hours of service and safety regulations
Requirements
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Pass a Ryder Drug Test
  • Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
  • Pass a DOT physical
  • Pass a Ryder road test
  • Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
  • Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
