Job Overview

Wheat Operations Specialist
This is a Full-Time, Hourly Position

Safety and Health Responsibilities
Duties: Assess employee adherence to safety protocols in accordance with company policies. Conduct observations and facilitate daily shift meetings. Participate in all required safety training sessions.
Objective: Maintain a secure working environment for all personnel and visitors.

Production Duties
Duties: Determine the appropriate wheat blend, adhere to production guidelines for mixing and tempering wheat, oversee cleaning processes to reduce grain loss, and manage moisture levels for optimal milling performance.
Objective: Ensure the mill operates with the correct wheat composition and follows the production timeline.

Quality Assurance
Duties: Collect samples of raw wheat, adjust wheat mixtures as necessary, and monitor ingredient feeder rates.
Objective: Deliver a safe food product that aligns with customer specifications.

Maintenance Responsibilities
Duties: Engage in mill and cleaning house maintenance tasks, including roll changes, sifter repairs, and preventive maintenance under the guidance of supervisory staff.
Objective: Enhance operational efficiency and reduce unexpected downtime.

Security Measures
Duties: Oversee visitor access and conduct perimeter checks as needed.
Objective: Ensure a high level of security throughout the facility.

Food Safety Compliance
Duties: Supervise cleaning house feed stations, perform routine checks, and document maintenance on equipment.
Objective: Uphold product quality through systematic safety procedures.

Sanitation Standards
Duties: Implement and follow established sanitation protocols across all areas.
Objective: Maintain high housekeeping standards.

Work Environment
