Key Responsibilities- Perform and complete hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Repair and maintain plastic molding machinery, electro-mechanical equipment, and production machines.
- Install new assets, including electric, plumbing, and mechanical systems, and perform building auxiliary equipment repairs.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on assigned functions to minimize downtime and ensure efficiency.
- Maintain assembly production equipment to ensure optimal performance and productivity.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and PLC troubleshooting documents.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and electrical testing equipment to diagnose and repair equipment issues.
- Communicate real-time status updates with team leaders throughout the shift.
- Make necessary adjustments and repairs to equipment to ensure continuous production.
- Responsible for knowing how to operate all machines and equipment to understand their function and repair them.
- Responsible for making tooling changes (size) within a reasonable timeframe.
- Perform other duties as assigned by immediate management.
- Replace or repair parts on machines, including bearings, filters, wiring, valves, gauges, and switches.
- Initiate purchase orders for parts and machines, lubricate, and clean parts, and start devices to test their performance.
- Participate in an on-call program and may be required to work additional hours as needed.
- Follow all safety rules and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- 3+ years of experience in the role.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Full understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, electricity, and PLC troubleshooting.
- Strong PLC troubleshooting capability and ability to read and program code.
- Good working knowledge of electrical controls, mechanical assembly, plumbing, and heating, ventilating, and air conditioning related control systems.
- Experience with injection molding for plastic packaging for industrial use.
1st Shift: 7:00 AM to 7:15 PM (Rotating Schedule)
CompensationUp to $45/hour - Depending on Experience (DOE)
