Mining Geologist

Ark Solutions Inc is seeking a highly skilled Mining Engineer to join their team.

We are looking for a Mining Engineer with expertise in legal and regulatory frameworks, fiscal frameworks, environmental mitigation, and decarbonization strategies for the mining sector. The ideal candidate will have strong technical writing and communication skills, as well as experience in mineral economics, economic forecasting, and commodity pricing.

• Review and analyze legal and regulatory frameworks to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Develop and implement fiscal frameworks to optimize resource commercialization.
• Design and implement environmental mitigation strategies to minimize social and environmental impacts.
• Develop decarbonization strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the mining sector.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement resource commercialization strategies.
• Conduct geological and geophysical technical cooperation to optimize resource extraction.
• Develop and implement mine closure and reclamation plans to ensure sustainable mining practices.

• Bachelor's degree in economics or a related field.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.
• Experience in mineral economics, economic forecasting, and commodity pricing.
• Good judgment, discretion, and political savvy.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
