Mining Geologist

Ark Solutions Inc is seeking a highly skilled Mining Engineer to join their team.

We are looking for a Mining Engineer with expertise in legal and regulatory frameworks, fiscal frameworks, environmental mitigation, and decarbonization strategies for the mining sector.

• Conduct thorough reviews of legal and regulatory frameworks to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement fiscal frameworks to optimize resource allocation and minimize costs.
• Design and implement environmental mitigation strategies to minimize the impact of mining operations on the environment.
• Develop and implement decarbonization strategies to reduce the carbon footprint of mining operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement resource commercialization strategies.
• Develop and implement mine closure and reclamation plans to ensure sustainable mining practices.

• Strong understanding of mineral economics and economic forecasting.
• Experience in the mining sector with a focus on asset evaluation, commodity pricing, and commodity markets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Good judgment and discretion with the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.
• Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.

Bachelor's degree in economics or a related field.
