About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Safety Specialist to join our team at TG Gallagher. As a key member of our safety team, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for our employees, clients, and the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with our Safety Plan and identify potential hazards.
  • Assist in the development of project safety documents and procedures.
  • Develop and review the Accident Prevention Plan (APP) and provide onsite safety training and education.
  • Collaborate with project management, quality control, and subcontractors to ensure cooperation and adherence with safety inspections, corrections, and compliance.
  • Investigate and record accidents and workers' compensation claims.
  • Maintain accurate record-keeping documents and prepare safety reports as required by OSHA.

Requirements
  • 2+ years of construction or general industry experience.
  • Completed and earned the OSHA 30-hour safety certificate in construction.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, primarily construction standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and iAuditor.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently and effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
