Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Recreational/Vocational Coordinator to join our team at Dynamic Service Solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing a wide range of activities and programming that meet the diverse needs of our youth in care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement recreational and vocational programs that promote the spiritual, cultural, emotional, intellectual, vocational, social, physical, and environmental well-being of our youth.
  • Coordinate and supervise recreational activities, including group, physical, and vocational programs, to ensure a safe and orderly environment for our youth.
  • Collaborate with community partners to identify and recruit volunteers and resources to support our recreational and vocational programs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local organizations and businesses to provide opportunities for our youth to engage in vocational training and recreational activities.
  • Provide clear guidance and support to direct care staff to ensure the successful implementation of recreational and vocational programs.
  • Document and report on the progress and outcomes of our recreational and vocational programs to inform future planning and decision-making.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as recreation, education, or social work.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a related field, preferably in a residential or community-based setting.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality services to our youth.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
Working Conditions

The Recreational/Vocational Coordinator will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on providing high-quality services to our youth. The successful candidate will be required to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed. Travel may be required to attend training and conferences, or to transport youth to destinations within the U.S.
