Job Opportunity

Aspen Medical is seeking a highly skilled Reproductive Health Physician to join our team in providing medical services to UN sponsored Kenyan Peacekeepers and US Government staff at a field hospital in Haiti.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced physician to work in a deployed, rotational contract, ideally with a 3-month on, 1-month off rotation cycle. The team will be based in a secure, purpose-built camp and hospital facility in Haiti, and all service delivery requirements will be conducted within the confines of that facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide medical services to UN sponsored Kenyan Peacekeepers and US Government staff
  • Work in a deployed, rotational contract with a 3-month on, 1-month off rotation cycle
  • Collaborate with a small, dynamic team to provide medical services
  • Meet the requirements of US clinical standards and compliance measures

Requirements:

  • Citizenship: All Aspen Medical staff must be US citizens or Green Card holders
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited medical school with a Degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
  • Board Certification: Must hold board certification of specialty by the American Board of Medical Specialties or the American Osteopathic Association
  • License: Must possess a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a Physician from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States
  • Experience: Minimum of three (3)+ years of current experience, actively practicing in specialty (Female Reproductive Health and/or Obstetrics and Gynecology), post-board certification
  • Certification: Current, valid certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
