HonorHealth is seeking a highly skilled Exercise Physiologist to join our Cardiac Rehabilitation team. As a member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing comprehensive treatment strategies to achieve positive outcomes for patients with cardiovascular disease and other co-morbidities.
Responsibilities- Job Summary: The Exercise Physiologist is responsible for assisting with patient care during all phases of Cardiac Rehabilitation, including patient assessment, education, and documentation of individual exercise programs.
- Monitor and record patient responses to exercise rehab programs and progress patient exercises according to rehab policies and procedures.
- Supervise individual exercise programs and complete patient reassessments and updates exercise recommendations on a monthly basis or as necessary.
- Communicate exercise responses with patients' physicians and make necessary modifications based on recommendations.
- Lead exercise groups in stretching and/or strength training, and participate as a team member in emergency or code procedures.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, or related field required.
- Experience: 1 year Exercise Science required.
- Certifications: BCLS - Basic Life Support required, ACSM - Exercise Specialist or Personal Trainer 180 days required.
