Responsibilities
  • Job Summary: The Exercise Physiologist is responsible for assisting with patient care during all phases of Cardiac Rehabilitation, including patient assessment, education, and documentation of individual exercise programs.
  • Monitor and record patient responses to exercise rehab programs and progress patient exercises according to rehab policies and procedures.
  • Supervise individual exercise programs and complete patient reassessments and updates exercise recommendations on a monthly basis or as necessary.
  • Communicate exercise responses with patients' physicians and make necessary modifications based on recommendations.
  • Lead exercise groups in stretching and/or strength training, and participate as a team member in emergency or code procedures.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, or related field required.
  • Experience: 1 year Exercise Science required.
  • Certifications: BCLS - Basic Life Support required, ACSM - Exercise Specialist or Personal Trainer 180 days required.
