Key Responsibilities:

The primary role of the Speech Language Pathologist involves:

  • Preventing, assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children.
  • Evaluating and treating children from birth to age 21 for various communication disorders to help them achieve their highest potential and prevent setbacks.
  • Collaborating closely with patients, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary team to create and implement tailored treatment plans.
  • Documenting treatment sessions and progress reports with accuracy and detail.
  • Maintaining professional competencies and adhering to federal and state licensure requirements and ethical standards.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology.
  • A current, unrestricted license to practice or in the process of obtaining one.
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply.
