As the Head of Quality Assurance at PTW, you will spearhead and oversee the global QA department. This role involves managing a substantial international team, strategizing workforce allocation, recruitment, and optimizing processes while collaborating with other leadership figures. Your duties will cover all facets of Quality Assurance, including feature development, automation, testing capabilities, and compliance.

You will work in close partnership with our clients' Game Development and Publishing teams to tackle daily challenges and enhance delivery efficiency. By engaging with our clients' development sectors, you will proactively innovate and refine our QA methodologies and best practices. You will also mentor and guide Quality Assurance professionals, nurturing the growth of future QA leaders.

In your capacity as the QA Head, you will ensure cohesive alignment within the global QA department and establish effective communication across all levels.

Key Responsibilities

Process Management

Assess and determine resource needs to meet current QA/LQA demands.

Anticipate and communicate future QA/LQA requirements.

Implement and oversee QA/LQA operations to align with organizational goals.

Manage daily client deliverables and achievable revenue targets.

Evaluate project milestones and ensure timely testing for each title.

Develop and enhance the skills and effectiveness of our QA/LQA team.

Prepare and review proposals based on client requests.

Ensure processes and documentation adhere to business and third-party audit standards.

Establish, assess, and evolve success standards across testing organizations.

Client Satisfaction

Evaluate client needs for new business opportunities.

Analyze and assess requirements for existing clients.

Ensure high levels of client satisfaction by fulfilling requirements.

Build professional relationships with targeted clients.

International and local travel may be necessary throughout the year.

Project Management

Understand client business and project service level agreements (SLAs).

Ensure receipt of client business information, product knowledge, scripts, etc.

Ensure monthly billing details for each project are sent to the Accounts Department.

Act as the primary point of contact for clients.

Manage daily client deliverables and achievable revenue.

Revenue Management

Stay informed of revenue projections and targets.

Achieve revenue and margin goals for departments.

Collaborate with sales on new business proposals.

Oversee the profitability of each account.

People Management

Ensure adequate staffing, training, and technical support for all projects.

Develop QA/LQA management teams to foster excellence.

Create an environment of creativity and innovation within the testing team.

Facilitate the development of both technical and non-technical skills within the team.

Compliance and Process Improvement

Ensure full compliance with all audit and information security requirements, including ISO audits and client-specified compliance standards.

Oversee the maintenance, implementation, and auditing of all processes.

Qualifications

What We Seek

10-15 years of experience in the gaming industry across various platforms (PC/Console/Mobile); experience in game services is advantageous.

Extensive leadership experience, managing and developing a QA/LQA team across multiple functions, projects, and locations.


Ability to balance hands-on work in a rapidly growing environment while driving strategic planning to support a scaling business.


Strong skills in building partnerships and driving collaboration across the organization, including with Executives, Sales, and Support Functions, as well as global and local stakeholders.


Demonstrated experience working with clients and/or external testing services, managing the end-to-end process of RFP reviews, contract negotiations, and establishing structures to support diverse and scaling needs.

Proven adaptability while fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment for the team.

Proven leadership capabilities to drive change and inspire a global team.

Data-driven with experience using test automation systems (either off-the-shelf or custom) and involvement in defining usage and promoting adoption.
