Job Summary:

The Radiologic Technologist I works independently and/or assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the x-ray equipment in order to obtain diagnostic images in the ambulatory setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for diagnostic imaging procedures, including positioning and immobilizing patients as needed.
  • Operate x-ray equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Assist physicians during procedures, as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Requirements:

  • High School or GED, required.
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiology program or a certified/ accredited/JCERT hospital-based program and credentialed by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), required.
  • Two years experience in diagnostic radiology, required.
  • ARRT, required.
