Position Summary
The Quality Control (QC) Supervisor plays a crucial role in upholding quality protocols within the organization. This position is responsible for supervising onsite inspectors and ensuring compliance with established quality practices.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the activities of Quality Control Technicians and implement strategies to meet departmental objectives and uphold quality benchmarks.
- Provide guidance and support in quality control initiatives.
- Ensure that all personnel have received appropriate safety training.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve various quality-related issues and opportunities.
- Maintain an inventory of materials pertinent to QC operations.
- Communicate with suppliers to acquire necessary goods for quality control.
- Research and assess products, making recommendations for purchases.
- Foster effective communication with staff and management as needed.
- Build and maintain relationships with colleagues, clients, and regulatory bodies.
- Actively engage in programs and policies aimed at enhancing the overall success of the organization.
- Represent the company in a professional manner, both internally and externally, aligning with our core values and mission.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Post-secondary education is required.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with 1 to 3 years in a supervisory role.

Skills Required
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and recordkeeping systems.
- Experience with measuring instruments and laboratory equipment.
- Understanding of company policies and procedures.
- Ability to interpret regulations, technical drawings, and manufacturer manuals.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Knowledge of leadership principles and staff management practices.
- Ability to set job expectations and assess performance.
- Capability to prioritize and coordinate staff activities.

Conflict Resolution Skills
- Familiarity with counseling and investigative techniques.
- Understanding of policy development principles.
- Ability to analyze challenges and devise effective solutions.
- Knowledge of materials management, including procurement and inventory oversight.
- Understanding of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and safe handling practices for chemicals.
