About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to join our team, responsible for providing technical direction, supervision, and guidance for a group of civil designers and functioning as a technical specialist and consultant for our internal staff.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with at least 10 years of experience in land development and a proven track record of effective leadership, mentoring, training, coaching, and developing team members.

  • Lead new business development, promote repeat and referral business with existing clients, and participate in networking events and business development meetings.
  • Prepare and review project proposals, qualification statements, promotional materials, and professional services agreements.
  • Plan, develop, coordinate, and direct the team during the execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act in a lead position, providing technical direction, supervision, and guidance for overall objectives over a group of civil designers.
  • Develop and implement project schedules and resource management that facilitates timely performance.
  • Serve as primary contact with clients; foster a culture of effective internal and external communication between clients and team members.
  • Manage project budget; communicate budget allocation to staff for their respective assignments.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor of Engineering from a four-year, board-approved engineering curriculum.
  • Active PE required.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on land development.

You will also need to demonstrate effective leadership skills, including mentoring, training, coaching, and developing team members.
