Project Control Analyst (Junior) Job Description

Sev1Tech is seeking a highly skilled Project Control Analyst (Junior) to join our team. As a key member of the program team, you will play a crucial role in the planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting of performance on task orders and projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide cost, schedule, and funding planning, reporting, monitoring, and analysis support
  • Assist in the development of Work Breakdown Schedules (WBS), Basis of Estimate (BOE), and time-phased budgets and schedules
  • Support project setup in compliance with contractual terms, conditions, and requirements
  • Monitor staffing plans and budgets, flagging issues and risks and working with PMs, Contracts, Procurement, and Finance/Accounting to avoid, mitigate, resolve them
  • Support the review and assessment of contract modifications, advising managers of impacts
  • Monitor hours and costs on a weekly basis, ensuring they are charged to the correct job number
  • Support the preparation and review of cost reports and supporting documentation
  • Support security clearance requests, tracking, and reporting
  • Support Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) tracking
  • Support Internal Program Review (IPR) presentation preparation for management
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Two (2) to four (4) years of Project Control experience on a federal contract, focused on cost and schedule support
  • Experience working with multiple government contract types
  • Cost and scheduling experience
  • Proficiency in Excel, Project, and other MS Office suite products
  • Excellent organizational skills, including ability to effectively manage multiple tasks concurrently
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Record of meeting deadlines consistently
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as a member of a team and independently
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Experience using an EPR system such as Deltek (Costpoint); SAP; Unanet
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance

This position will typically be located in either Colorado Springs, CO, Stennis, MS, Chandler, AZ, National Capitol Region (NCR) or Remote where applicable. Candidates who meet the minimum qualifications, appropriate clearance level, and are geographically aligned (or the ability to relocate) will be considered first.
