Program Overview

Spruce Lake Summer Camp's Leader in Training program is a unique opportunity for teens to develop their leadership skills and serve in a camp ministry setting.

This two-week program is designed for ages 16-18 and includes a combination of leadership training, serving opportunities, and time with campers in both Day Camp and Overnight Wilderness Camp settings.

As a Sr Leader in Training, you will spend one week with a Day Camp group and one week with an Overnight Wilderness Camp group, plus service in other areas during both weeks.

This experience will give you a behind-the-scenes look at Spruce Lake Summer Camp and help you determine if it's a good fit for you.

You'll have the opportunity to serve in various roles, including as a camp counselor or on the support team, and receive guidance from experienced LIT Mentors.

This program is an excellent stepping stone for those interested in serving in a summer ministry role at Spruce Lake in the future.

Leading starts with serving, and this program will help you develop the skills and confidence to make a positive impact in the lives of others.
