Position Overview

As a vital member of a project team, the Senior Low Voltage Systems Supervisor is responsible for improving overall job site efficiency and ensuring exceptional quality of work. This role involves leading a team of 3-5 members on smaller projects, focusing on task completion with high standards of quality and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to safety protocols as E2's top priority, following safe work practices and site policies.
  • Promote the company's Core Values to nurture a family-oriented culture.
  • Oversee the installation of structured cabling systems, managing all phases of the installation process.
  • Interpret floor plans, drawings, specifications, and cut sheets accurately.
  • Set up and utilize various copper and fiber testing equipment.
  • Conduct system testing and troubleshooting as necessary.
  • Terminate, label, test, and troubleshoot optical fiber and copper installations.
  • Lead and mentor teams of 3-5 Technicians and Installers to ensure project tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Provide training to Technicians and Installers to enhance their skills and responsibilities.
  • Assist in the development of Technicians towards the Lead Technician role.
  • Maintain job site organization and cleanliness.
  • Exhibit a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
  • Ensure compliance with customer security requirements.
  • Demonstrate technical proficiency in testing and troubleshooting.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office proficiently.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • OSHA 10 certification is mandatory.
  • Preferred certifications include Fiber Optic Association CPCT and CFOT.
Experience:
  • 2-5 years of experience in Structured Cabling or a related field.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.
  • Capability to distinguish color codes.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Comprehensive understanding of structured cabling systems, including pathways, spaces, and connections.
  • Ability to select appropriate tools and methods for tasks and guide team members accordingly.
  • Strong listening skills and the ability to follow instructions effectively.
  • Willingness to learn from senior team members.
  • Positive attitude and strong team player.
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours as required by projects.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • Demonstrated adaptability in diverse work environments.
  • Must meet E2's driving standards policy.
Preferred Attributes:
  • Possession of company-approved (manufacturer) certifications.
  • BICSI Installer Level 1 or Level 2 certification is a plus.
Work Environment:

This position typically operates in an indoor office and construction setting. Employees must be able to use computers and hand tools while sitting or standing for extended periods. The noise level is generally moderate. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds regularly and climbing ladders up to 20 feet.
