Chemotherapy Infusion Nurse

Children's National Health System is seeking a skilled Chemotherapy Infusion Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to children and families affected by cancer and blood disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy treatments safely and effectively
- Manage care of patients with multiple types of central lines, including broviacs, port-a-cath, and PICC lines
- Communicate clearly with patients and families to ensure understanding of treatment plans and outcomes
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
- ASN or BSN degree in nursing
- At least 2 years of experience in hematology/oncology/BMT
- Registered Nurse licensure in the District of Columbia
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider certification
- APHON Chemobiotherapy Provider certification
