The Role

We're seeking a highly experienced and visionary Head of Design and Product Development to lead our product development process. As a key member of our executive leadership team, you'll be responsible for creating inspiring product lines and designs that deliver magical moments to customers, drive repeat revenue, and establish Lovepop as a leader in the industry.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in design and product development, with a proven track record of driving product line expansion, experimentation, and innovation. You'll work closely with our CEO and CMO to bring the Lovepop brand to life and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a cohesive product development and design strategy that aligns with our company goals
  • Lead a team of designers and design leaders to create inspiring product lines and designs
  • Collaborate with marketing, retail, and other teams to bring the Lovepop brand to life
  • Drive customer-obsessed product development and gather customer insights to inform product decisions
  • Manage a budget and make smart investments to drive business growth
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in design and product development, including hiring designers and design leaders
  • Proven track record of driving product line expansion, experimentation, and innovation
  • Strong art and engineering background, with experience in developing high-profile partnerships and licensing brands
  • Leadership experience, with a focus on prioritizing effectively, delegating appropriately, and generating leverage
  • Financial acumen, with the ability to lead an organization to make smart investments and manage a budget
