Role Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physician to serve as the Director of our Residency Program at HHSC East Hawaii Region (EHMG - Providers). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the educational curriculum and environment, ensuring the quality of didactic and clinical education, and recruiting, developing, and mentoring residents.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain an educational curriculum and environment conducive to educating residents in ACGME competency areas
  • Ensure the quality of didactic and clinical education and oversee program operations
  • Recruit, develop, mentor, and evaluate residents as well as program faculty
  • Prepare and submit information required by the ACGME, including program information forms and annual resident updates
Requirements
  • MD or DO degree
  • Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine
  • Meet ACGME minimum requirements for Residency Program Director position
