Position Overview

The Mechanical Systems Maintenance Specialist will oversee the upkeep of mechanical production systems and machinery within the facility. This role requires expertise in diagnosing issues through effective troubleshooting, as well as replacing and repairing components to ensure optimal equipment performance. Additionally, this individual will manage the procurement of parts, supplies, and maintain an inventory of essential components for ongoing projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of production machinery.
  • Identify mechanical issues within production systems.
  • Execute repair work orders for equipment failures and perform routine maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate documentation including invoices, custom documents, and inventory records.
  • Engage with vendors, clients, and internal teams regarding project processing, progress, and timelines.
  • Adhere to established policies, procedures, and recognized practices for safety, health, and quality.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and related activities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, ideally within an industrial manufacturing context.
  • Associate's degree or equivalent technical vocational training/certification.
  • Proficient troubleshooting skills and familiarity with PLC systems.
  • Experience in preventative maintenance and knowledge of best practices.
  • Relevant safety training and capability to operate standard mechanical equipment.
  • Dedication to safety and precision in all tasks.
  • Strong teamwork, strategic thinking, and communication abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: Starting at $33.20 per hour
