Job Description:

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and customer service. You will work closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications
  • Interact with patients and customers to provide information and support
  • Operate pharmacy systems and equipment to process prescriptions and manage inventory
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and technologies
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 6 months of experience in a retail environment preferred
  • PTCB certification preferred
  • Good math skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
