Job Summary

This position is a key member of the Manufacturing Team at American Regent, Inc. The Manufacturing Team is responsible for ensuring the safe, effective, and sterile production of pharmaceuticals in accordance with company SOPs, policies, and cGMPs. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the manufacturing process, including component preparation, aseptic cleaning, compounding, filtration, and filling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise manufacturing activities, delegating resources and participating in the process to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Train and mentor junior team members in all facets of the manufacturing process.
  • Review executed batch records and logbooks prior to submitting for final production review.
  • Reallocate personnel based on production needs and create weekly activity schedules to ensure production goals are met.
  • Maintain equipment and supply inventories, ensuring they are available for use in accordance with production schedules.
  • Ensure only approved materials and equipment are utilized at all times.
  • Verify that personnel have accurate and approved training records before performing tasks.
  • Attend all required training programs and perform other tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Science, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of leadership experience required, with the ability to lead, coach, or mentor a team or group.
  • Experience in manufacturing, the pharmaceutical industry, or with GMP/FDA regulations is a plus.
  • Chemical handling, mathematical aptitude, and the ability to assemble, troubleshoot, and perform minor repairs on manufacturing equipment are preferred.
  • Experience writing, reviewing, and executing standard operating procedures is essential.
Physical Environment and Requirements
  • Ability to wear cleanroom/protective gowning and equipment, including gowning, goggles, face shields, respirators, and protective gloves.
  • Must maintain a clean-shaven appearance to wear tight-fitting respirators properly.
  • Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds may be required.
