Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patient health status, diagnose, and interpret lab results
  • Develop and implement patient treatment plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary care teams
  • Conduct weekly wound rounds and document patient progress
  • Assess, manage, and treat wounds, identifying underlying causes and developing effective treatment plans
  • Address quality of life concerns related to wounds and develop curative, maintenance, or palliative wound care goals
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program with a concentration in Older Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner
  • Wound Certification (CWS, WOCN, or equivalent) or actively pursuing certification
  • Minimum of two years' experience in wound care, working with adult or geriatric populations
