Key Responsibilities- Review and approve supplier certifications and certified material test reports to ensure compliance with specifications
- Scan and electronically organize certification packages for each receipt
- Verify serial numbers / heat numbers of items match documentation
- Write nonconformance reports for certifications that do not meet specification
- Enter approvals of receipts within ERP system
- Ensure accuracy of ERP system data for receipts
- Provide daily / weekly reports to management of receipt status
- Review, approve and electronically file receiving inspection reports
- Follow-up with rejected receipts to ensure timely disposition of product
- Interface with suppliers resolve certification errors
- Expedite receipts to support on time delivery to manufacturing and customers
- Create quality control instructions / forms based upon direction of quality engineers
- Ensure on-time and accurate submission of engine quality records to customers
- Issue Quality Alert notifications
- Issue Corrective Action Requests and track responses
- Reduce costs through participation in the company-wide lean initiatives
- Minimum of an Associate's degree or 2 years in a document review/ quality position
- Proficient in reviewing results for compliance with requirements
- Proficient in data entry
- Possess a high degree of organizational skills
- Possess demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
- Action-oriented with ability to establish working relationships with people at all levels
- Proficient in Windows, MS Office applications and Adobe
- American Society for Quality - Certified Quality Technician is a plus
- Proven lean manufacturing experience is strongly preferred
- This position includes access or potential access to export controlled data. Therefore, you will need to qualify as a U.S. Person, which is defined as a U.S. Citizen, a U.S. Permanent Resident or a political asylee in compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Acceptable proof of this status includes a US Passport, Permanent Resident Card, US birth Certificate or Naturalization Certificate. Maintenance, including renewal, of licensing authorization is a condition of employment. Government authorization may be a suitable alternative after review on a case-by-case basis.
