Job Summary

Medix is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling and installing various engine components, mechanical assemblies, and subassemblies according to engineering drawings and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and install engine components, mechanical assemblies, and subassemblies using hand tools and electronic tooling.
  • Verify product quality based on work instructions and quality checklists.
  • Examine parts using digital and vernier scale micrometers to measure critical dimensions.
  • Lift and/or carry up to 40 pounds of materials to assist in production.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Mechanical aptitude or experience in automotive assembly and/or other high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to obtain Lift Truck, Crane, or other designated equipment certification.
  • Ability to use micrometers, calipers, attribute/variable gauges, and hand tools.
