Job Summary

Cibola General Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Sterile Processing/Operating Room professional to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all sterile processing procedures comply with regulatory standards and guidelines.
  • Surgical Instrumentation: Clean, decontaminate, inspect, and assemble surgical instruments and equipment, including endoscopes and other complex devices.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization equipment to ensure proper functioning and maintenance.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with OSHA and Joint Commission standards.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, with previous sterile processing experience preferred.
  • Certifications: Certification as a Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician or Certified Registered Central Service Technician is preferred.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, maintain productivity standards, and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
