DaVita is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in a hospital setting. As an Inpatient Dialysis RN, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care to patients undergoing dialysis, including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT).
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct patient observations, measure vital signs, and set up dialysis machines.
- Work closely with patients and their families to educate them on dialysis treatment and promote self-care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing.
- Experience in intensive care unit (ICU), critical care unit (CCU), emergency room (ER), or medical surgical (Med Surg) settings is preferred.
- Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) certification is a plus.
