Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive care to patients undergoing dialysis, including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT).
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct patient observations, measure vital signs, and set up dialysis machines.
  • Work closely with patients and their families to educate them on dialysis treatment and promote self-care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Experience in intensive care unit (ICU), critical care unit (CCU), emergency room (ER), or medical surgical (Med Surg) settings is preferred.
  • Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) certification is a plus.
