Position Summary

Energy Systems Southeast, LLC, a leader in the industrial distribution sector for Generac Power Systems, is currently seeking a dedicated Apprentice Electrician. We are expanding our operations and looking for motivated individuals to contribute to our growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform maintenance and installation of electrical systems in commercial environments and telecommunications sites, including cabinet setups, main distribution panels, disconnects, meter pedestals, transformers, emergency generators, and transfer switches.
  • Travel across the Southeast region as required, with accommodations and meals provided by the company.
  • Work with single-phase and three-phase electrical systems under the guidance of a crew leader.
  • Learn to read and interpret electrical construction drawings accurately.
  • Assist with civil tasks such as grounding, trenching, and conduit installation; experience with excavation equipment is a plus.
  • Utilize testing equipment including voltmeters, megohm testers, and amp meters.
  • Comply with company and regulatory operational plans and procedures, including the National Electric Code (NEC) and OSHA standards.
  • Maintain organized workspaces and adhere to environmental, health, and safety policies.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of electrical experience required.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and be insurable; a CDL is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to pass a drug test as part of a drug-free workplace policy.
  • Strong work ethic, initiative, and a willingness to tackle challenges.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems, including AC and DC circuits.
  • Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and web-based tools.
