Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at LewisGale Hospital Montgomery. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing patients, collecting relevant information, and performing CT procedures. You will also be expected to observe patients' conditions, practice and enforce radiation safety, and adhere to all appropriate hospital and regulatory policies.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for CT procedures and collect relevant information.
  • Perform CT procedures, including MRI exams.
  • Observe patients' conditions and report any concerns to the medical team.
  • Practice and enforce radiation safety policies.
  • Adhere to all appropriate hospital and regulatory policies.
  • Compile accurate records and expedite results.
  • Administer contrast media as required.
  • Participate in continuing education activities to expand knowledge of CT and meet ARRT requirements.
  • Take call after regular hours as assigned.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements

To be successful as a CT Technologist, you will need:

  • Experience in Radiologic Technology.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • ARRT registered.
  • CT Registry within six months.
  • BLS within 90 days of employment.
