Position Overview:
Brightspeed is in search of a Billing Systems Specialist to enhance our dynamic Finance Systems team. In this capacity, you will provide support for our innovative billing platforms and act as a key resource for specific billing systems.
This role encompasses both technical and functional responsibilities, playing a vital part in the advancement and refinement of Brightspeed's billing systems. You will report directly to the Manager of Billing Systems within the Finance department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance Operational Effectiveness:
Take the lead in executing system improvements and updates that result in increased efficiency, data precision, and overall system performance.
- Develop Innovative Billing Solutions:
Assist in the creation and thorough testing of new billing products and services, ensuring alignment with business requirements and system integrity.
- Foster Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
Work closely with various teams, including the Contact Center, Customer Services, IT, and Finance, to optimize billing processes, ensuring smooth operations and accurate data transmission.
- Analyze System Performance:
Regularly assess and interpret key performance indicators of billing systems, delivering insights that drive enhancements and optimize functionality.
- Address Billing Issues:
Conduct comprehensive investigations and triage to promptly resolve billing challenges, minimizing disruptions and boosting customer satisfaction.
- Recommend System Improvements:
Identify potential areas for system enhancements and propose actionable strategies that improve the efficiency and reliability of billing systems.
- Evaluate Project Implications:
Assess the effects of new initiatives on existing billing systems, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with business goals.
- Engage in Technical Projects:
Contribute to technical discussions and decision-making for cross-functional projects, offering valuable insights from a billing systems perspective.
