Product Development Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Development Assistant to join our team at Goldbug. As a Product Development Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Merchandising Department in various aspects of the product creation process of Children's Apparel Accessories.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Sample and product organization
  • Organizing samples appropriately by brand, category, season, and any other factors as directed
  • Tagging samples for internal and external use
  • Set up retailer Planograms
  • Manage conference room presentation
  • Manage FedEx sample delivery distribution and sending of outbound packages
  • Assisting Merchandising department in packaging development process
  • Product mock ups and approvals
  • Assisting Merchandising department in photoshoots, fittings, and focus groups
  • Learn to work in Goldbug's PLM system
  • Assist in the review of data packs, linesheets, and planograms created by the design team

Requirements:

  • Efficient in MS software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and other standard office equipment for recording, storing, analyzing, retrieving, and presenting information
  • Time management and organizational skills with a sense of priority for deadlines and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - supporting a good team environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to recognize and react to changing work demands
  • Ability to be flexible and show initiative in a change-oriented company
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Education:

Currently in college or recently received a Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred.
