Job Summary

Chai Urgent Care is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare and be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). The Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for performing and analyzing patient x-rays, as well as providing general care and education to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and take x-rays following established protocols
  • Use radiation protection and shielding materials to ensure patient safety
  • Perform tasks such as record-keeping and maintaining supply inventory
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure smooth clinic operations
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by managers and providers

Requirements:

  • Minimum high school degree or equivalent
  • ARRT certification or equivalent
  • NY State License
  • Current with continuing education requirements for the ARRT
  • Knowledge of X-Ray procedures and protocols
  • Knowledge of anatomy and physiology necessary to perform X-Ray testing
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with staff, patients, and families
  • Basic computer knowledge

Pay Rate: $40 to $45 per hour
