Job Summary

Penn State Health is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of standardized imaging procedures, setting up and adjusting related equipment and devices, and maintaining related records under the direction of the Senior Imaging Staff.

Responsibilities
  • Perform computed tomography scans and other imaging procedures as required
  • Set up and adjust imaging equipment and devices to ensure optimal performance
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest imaging technologies and techniques
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
  • Registered or registry-eligible in radiography or computed tomography
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with computed tomography scanning and other imaging modalities
  • Knowledge of imaging protocols and procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
