We are currently seeking a **Commercial Service Technician** to enhance our dedicated team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the optimal performance of refrigeration systems and involves a variety of responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize blueprints or design specifications for the installation and repair of HVACR systems.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance checks on major mechanical equipment, diagnosing malfunctions and assessing operational efficiency.
  • Install and replace various types of pumps, refrigeration equipment, pneumatic and electric valves, and ventilation systems in accordance with specifications.
  • Calibrate thermostats to maintain appropriate temperature levels.
  • Repair and overhaul complex commercial refrigeration and environmental systems, performing regular inspections.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in all mechanical rooms.
  • Test pipe or tubing joints for leaks using electronic meters or pressure gauges.
  • Order and secure necessary materials for job completion.
  • Evaluate electrical circuits or components to identify required repairs.
  • Connect systems to refrigerant line sets, air ducts, and other essential components.
  • Inspect and uphold customers' refrigeration and energy management systems.
  • Replace worn or defective parts as needed.
  • Adhere to all relevant standards, policies, and safety procedures, ensuring a clean work environment.
  • Document all work performed using an app-based dispatch program, ensuring clarity and customer satisfaction.
  • Complete required reporting paperwork for refrigerant use and leak checks in compliance with local monitoring agencies.
  • Travel to various worksites as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Experience with supermarket refrigeration systems is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant technical experience.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug test.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays during on-call periods.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • EPA Certification is required.
