Senior Financial Analyst

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for managing the financial health of our clients by performing daily bookkeeping duties, maintaining financial records, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with current accounting standards. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working from home with occasional visits to the office.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including recording transactions, managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, and utilizing accounting software such as Sage and QuickBooks.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP accounting principles and practices in all tasks.
• Prepare and process payroll, sales tax returns, and financial reports for clients, providing insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.
• Collaborate with the finance team on budget preparation and financial planning.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping, preferably in a client-facing role.
• Proficiency in using accounting software such as Sage and QuickBooks.
• Solid understanding of GAAP accounting principles and practices.
• Strong skills in financial analysis and reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in performing financial tasks.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
